Terms of Service

By starting a project with Seiko Motion Studio - a remote-first creative studio working with clients worldwide - you agree to the terms below. They exist to keep every collaboration clear, fair, and predictable.

1. Services and quotations. Every project starts with a free consultation and a written quotation describing the scope, deliverables, timeline, and price. Work begins only after you approve the quotation. Anything outside the approved scope is quoted separately.

2. Payment terms. Unless agreed otherwise, projects require an upfront deposit before production starts, with the remaining balance due on final delivery. Source files are released after full payment.

3. Revisions. We include 1–2 free revision rounds, depending on the project. Additional rounds, scope changes after approval, and rush delivery are billed separately at rates confirmed in advance.

4. Timelines and delivery. Estimated timelines are given with each quotation and depend on feedback speed. Delivery dates shift by the same amount of time as any client delay in providing materials or approvals.

5. Intellectual property. Full rights to the final, paid deliverables transfer to you upon receipt of full payment. Working files, presets, and reusable systems remain ours unless a buyout is agreed in writing.

6. Portfolio rights. Unless you request otherwise in writing before delivery, we may showcase the work in our portfolio, on social media, and in case studies.

7. Confidentiality. Materials you share with us are treated as confidential and used only for your project. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

8. Client responsibilities. You confirm that all materials you provide (logos, footage, music, fonts) are yours to use or properly licensed, and that you have the authority to approve the project.

9. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the project in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Termination. Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Work completed up to that point is billed proportionally, and the deposit is non-refundable as it reserves production time.

11. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time your project starts applies to that project.
